Discos: The Natalie Merchant Collection

Nonesuch Records anuncía el lanzamiento de la colección completa de la ex-vocalista de los legendarios 10,000 Maniacs; Natalie Merchant bajo el nombre de "The Natalie Merchant Collection" el próximo mes de junio junto a dos "bonus disc" para deleite de sus seguidores.

Esta nueva caja comienza con el debut de Merchant "Tigerlilly" de 1995 e incluye todos los LP's incluso el disco acústico del 2003 "The House Captain's Daughter", "The Leave Your Sleep" álbum doble del 2010 y el reboot de "Paradise Is There" lanzado en el 2015.

En cuanto a los bonus discs, destacamos "Butterfly" un nuevo set de studio que contiene cuatro nuevas canciones y seis selecciones reinterpretadas de su catalogo, todas arregladas para un cuarteto de cuerdas, mientras que el último disco es un especie de rarezas y lados B llamado "Rarities 1998-2017, curiosa colección de quince de sus más raros e inéditos tracks que incluyen demos caseros, tomas de disco, tracks en directo, y colaboraciones con artistas como Billy Bragg, David Byrne, The Chieftains, Cowboy Junkies y Amy Helm. 

El box set incluye un lyric book de 100 pagínas y un pictorial history con imágenes de la artista a lo largo de toda su carrera en solitario, claro esta que aún mantenemos esa nostalgía por 10,000 Maniacs en donde gracias a su peculiar voz le daba un toque único a esa banda estadounidense.
