New Music: Where Will You Go?

            

W. H. Lung, has shared new single "Where Will You Go?," the track arrives ahead of the UK Band's biggest ever headline show in their hometown of Manchester, at Albert Hall on November 20th. The band had this to say on the single and reveal there are no solid plans to continue the group afterwards: "Where Will You Go?," our new single, is released today. This song is a reflection on the band's journey and a celebration of our time together over the last ten years. If the song feels like a goodbye it's because our ten year anniversary gig at The Albert Hall on 20th November is the last in the diary, and we don’t know when or whether we’ll be back.We hadn’t planned to write any more new material this year but when we made that decision the song and its lyrics came very quickly. Where Will You Go? is about the band, the band’s history and all the hope and ambition that attended our formation. It moves through the places we’ve lived and toured, from Leeds to Todmorden and from the US to Europe, and arrives at our uncertain future like a homecoming.

Morrissey announced a pair of single released today, each track arrive alongside a previously unreleased B-side from Mozza's latest album "Make-Up Is A Lie" album sessions. Both releases will be made available on limited edition 7” black vinyl on October 16, via Sire/ Warner Records. The previously unreleased B-sides, are "Isle of Dogs" and "Without Music The World Dies," the first one is the B-side of the single "Kerching Kerching", and the second is the b-side of the single "Zoom Zoom The Little Boy" the track was co.written by Morrissey and Gustavo Manzur.

 

New Music: Zoom Zoom The Little Boy

           

The pro-animal anthem “Zoom Zoom the Little Boy” the other track premiered by Morrissey today is backed with live favorite "Without Music The World Dies," It was originally released on March 6, 2026 as a part of his latest album "Make Up Is A Lie", it was subsequently released as a physical 7" vinyl single today. The song, written by Morrissey alongside Jesse Tobias and Mike Daly, features upbeat, catchy alternative pop-rock production that contrasts with a strong social commentary on animal welfare and vegetarianism. The video for “Zoom Zoom the Little Boy” will follow on November 13.

New Music: Spectral Eyes

           

Blondie have announced a new album, High Noon, which will be the band's first new album in a decade and will include the final recordings of drummer/co-founder Clem Burke, who died in 2025. They have also shared the album's first single, "Spectral Eyes," which was written by Johnny Marr, who plays guitar on the song. High Noon is due out February 26, 2027 via BMG. 

New Music: A Man From The Future

           

Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant aka The Pet Shop Boys has rework their 2014 BBC Proms performance about Alan Turing into a tighter, more album-shaped package, with the voices of Juliet Stevenson and Gordon Brown. Originally written in 2012, this version of A Man From the Future has been reworked and rerecorded to step away from the grandiosity of the Royal Albert Hall. An orchestra becomes an octet, amid the inclusion of more electronic elements – as befits a subject such as Turing.

New Music: End Of The World

           

Britpop band Sleeper have announced a new album, End of the World, and shared its first single, title track "End of the World." The new album is due out February 12, 2027 via the band's own label, Gorsky Records. The band features Louise Wener (vocals, rhythm guitar), Jon Stewart (lead guitar), Andy Maclure (drums), and Kieron Pepper (bass guitar). Wener says it's the most personal Sleeper album. "It's a very different record for me," she says in a press release. "I'm Gen X, we tend not to confront our emotions or display them easily to the outside world. There’s strength in that, but also solitude. I got to the point where I felt I was dissolving. Like if I didn’t put my discomfort somewhere, I’d cease to exist." Of the title track, Wener says: "It's a song about breaking free. The moment you turn round and say: Enough. I’m done. Whoever is hurting you—a partner, a family member, a way of life that no longer fits—leaving may feel like your world is ending. It might also be the most liberating thing you can do."

New Music: Scammer

           

The Durutti Column shares "Scammer" their new hauntingly beautiful new single taken from their  surprise return with the forthcoming album Renascent that marks their first new music in 16 years. A liminal, pastoral meditation, "Scammer" definitely pairs shimmering synth washes and chiming guitar with Vini Reilly’s free-associative vocals, a must-listen.

New Music: Wings Of Love

          

The English synth-pop duo Erasure shares a new single, "Wings of Love,"  the first track from their forthcoming studio album, "Radio!! Radio!!," due March 12, 2027 on Mute. Andy Bell and Vince Clarke also confirmed a UK and European arena tour for April and May 2027, with Ladytron as special guests on the UK and Ireland dates. The album arrives during the duo's 40th anniversary era, four decades after Erasure released their debut album in 1986. According to the band, Radio!! Radio!! developed from a difficult period marked by personal loss, with the new songs moving through themes of love, grief, injustice, hope and healing. Clarke also expanded the duo’s familiar electronic palette by incorporating more piano and acoustic guitar into the writing. 

New Music: The Centre Of My Everything

           

Shed Seven have released "The Centre Of My Everything", their latest single from their upcoming 7th., studio album. The eponymous LP, arrives on January 8, and it serves as the follow-up to their 2024 chart-topping albums "A Matter Of Time" and "Liquid Gold". On the track, lead singer Rick Witter says: That feeling when love is all there is, when two are entwined as one, when nothing else matters apart from the other, when you can’t imagine a life lived alone, when you truly think of someone as being ‘The Centre of My Everything'". The band also said in a separate statement: "We are excited to announce the imminent arrival of our seventh studio album which is eponymously titled Shed Seven to honour the fact. We have taken great care in making this album what we believe to be our best yet, and we hope these songs are taken to people’s hearts."

New Music: Take Me By The Hand

           

Taken from Echo And The Bunnymen's new album "Apples For Isaac" out today, "Take Me By The Hand" is the band's latest single that stick again with that legendary post punk vibe from the 80's, the band's new album had the collaboration of the legendary Clem Burke from Blondi who managed to work in 10 of the 11 tracks before his demise last year, the track was produced by Ian McCulloch, Alan Moulder & Andrea Wright.

New Music: Western/Martian Skyline

           

           

The Church have announced their 28th studio album — a stat that would close out most careers and is, for this lot, simply Thursday. Lacuna lands October 30 via Cooking Vinyl, and shares the lead single "Western"; Steve Kilbey has said the title came straight from the setting, a nod to a childhood spent absorbing TV. It also arrives paired with second track "Martian Skyline", the pair following on from last year's "Sacred Echoes (Part Two)." Kilbey calls the album “intense, forlorn, and exultant” — as tidy a summary as any for a band still finding new corners inside their own sound: jangling guitars, atmospheric post-punk, dream-pop haze. 

New Music: Fade To Grey

           

Midge Ure has just announced the compilation “Chapters: The Best Of” on 13 November 2026 via Chrysalis Records. The collection gathers his 1980s hits and key album tracks in new 2026 stereo mixes, alongside first-time studio recordings of two songs long associated with his career. "Chapters: The Best Of" follows Ure's recent studio album "A Man Of Two Worlds" and brings together his solo catalogue with material connected to Visage and Thin Lizzy. For the first time, Ure has recorded new studio versions of Visage's "Fade To Grey" and Phil Lynott's "Yellow Pearl," a song he originally co-wrote. The first single is actually "Fade To Grey" in a new fresh version of this 80's hit classic.

New Music: Beginner Boys

           

Simple Minds started off in Glasgow way back in 1977 and the group's two longtime members, singer Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill, are about to celebrate their 50th anniversary nxt week and will publish their joint memoir Our Secrets Are The Same. But now it's time to share the band's new single "Beginner Boys" taken from their forthcoming album Sacrosanct. Kerr says that the brooding lead single "Beginner Boys" is about watching his grandsons grow up, "how strength, tenderness, courage, and gentleness might still belong together, even when the wider culture around them can send mixed signals. It's less a statement than a question I hope they'll spend their lives answering for themselves." 

New Music: The Light That Surrounds You

           

Echo & The Bunnymen have shared "The Light That Surrounds You," the second single taken from their forthcoming album Apples For Isaac. The song finds Ian McCulloch offering words of hope and redemption, set against a swirl of guitar built for festival fields and wide-open spaces. The new track follows previous single "Brussels Is Haunted" and offers another glimpse of Apples For Isaac, the band's 13th studio album and their first collection of new music in twelve years. The album is set for release on September 18 via BMG and follows 2014’s Meteorites and the 2018 compilation The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon. It will be available on black vinyl, limited splatter vinyl, limited picture disc, CD and digital formats.

New Music: Garden

           

Alabama Shakes have unveiled  "Garden", the latest preview of their eagerly anticipated new album "I Must Be Dreaming". The track arrives ahead of the record's release later this month, marking another milestone as the band prepare to return with their first full-length studio album in more than ten years. "I Must Be Dreaming" will be released on the 28th August, and represents the group's long-awaited return following a decade away from the album format. With anticipation continuing to build, the release of 'Garden' offers another compelling taste of what promises to be one of the band's most significant projects to date.

Bloc Party has premiered a new song called "Now We Can't Be Friends," a track off the band's upcoming album, Anatomy of a Brief Romance. The single marks the third song to be released off Anatomy of a Brief Romance, following "Coming on Strong" and "Love Bomb." the new album it's due out September 11.

New Music: Lonely In The Future

           

The Strokes return with a new album, Reality Awaits. And now shares a new track called "Lonely In The Future", which according to lead singer Julian Casablanca explains why there’s no need to repeat themselves. The new track is a fuzzy, angular banger in which Casablancas lashing out at critics, clones, and the like. With his voice constricted by the Auto-Tune plugin, he begins with a been-there-done-that sentiment.

New Music: I Feel Hope Coming

           

The Alabama Shakes have shared their optimistic new single "I Feel Hope Coming,"  the latest track off I Must Be Dreaming, the reunited band's first album in 11 years. The new single is a call to protest. "This younger generation makes me feel hopeful because they can see through all the political lies — that song’s about holding onto that hope, and refusing to give up," Brittany Howard said of the track in a statement. 

New Music: My Lover

           

The Afghan Whigs shares their new single "My Lover" a song that neatly distills the emotional ambivalence of a deceitful relationship sustained by lust but doomed to fail, it's the 3rd., single taken from the band's forthcoming new album "Soft Control" due out next 8th., August.

New Music: Blue Shadows

           

The Avalanches are back and now shares "Blue Shadows" the second collaboration between The Avalanches and Karen O, the solo artist and Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman having featured on "Dial D For Devotion" from the band’s 2020 album We Will Always Love You. “Blue Shadows” also marks the third single from The Avalanches in 2026, the track follows "Every Single Weekend" with Jamie xx and "Together" with Nikki Nair, Jessy Lanza and Prentiss.
