New Music: Another Way To Cry

Texas release "Another Way to Cry" a brand-new, previously unreleased song, serving as a preview for the 30th-anniversary edition of Texas’s album "White on Blonde". Influenced by their passion for Northern Soul and featuring rich brass and string arrangements, the track sees Texas exploring new musical territory. "A good way to test a new song is to play it alongside your greatest hits—it either holds its own, or it falls flat on its face," says Sharleen Spiteri. "You could drop 'Another Way to Cry' into the setlist tomorrow, right next to all the big hits, and it would absolutely hold its own." The song is accompanied by a music video filmed in the Scottish Highlands and directed by Niall Trask (known for his work with Jamie T, Fat White Family, and Nadine Shah). It stars Sharleen alongside her longtime friend, the acclaimed actor Robert Carlyle. The video serves as a love letter to the film "Paris, Texas"
