Coming out before Christmas, The Pet Shop Boys 2024 album, "Nonetheless", is to be reissued as a new expanded edition, on both CD and vinyl formats, in November.
2CD and 3LP black vinyl versions will feature the 10-track album, plus four new recordings, not the renewed versions off PSB classics as the original released. These consist of two cover versions: the David Bowie-penned "All The Young Dudes" and the 1967 soul song "The Dark End Of The Street".
There are also two tracks originally recorded during the Nonetheless
sessions: a version of the classical composition "Miserere" by Gregorio
Allegri and a Pet Shop Boys original titled "Adrenaline".
In addition to these four bonus tracks, this new edition of Nonetheless includes demo recordings of every song on the album
which is a first for the Pet Shop Boys. All this adds up to decent
extra content – and certainly significantly better than the original 2CD
deluxe – although fans are certain to raise an eyebrow high enough to
make the late, great Roger Moore look over with envy, at being offered a
new expanded edition less than five months after the original album release. The fourth single, "Feel", isn’t even out yet!
Nonetheless Expanded Edition will be released on 22 November
2024, via Parlophone.
