New Music: Downtown (Still Corners Cover)/Fake Like (Poliça Cover)

The Afghan Whigs are back with their first new music since 2022's How Do You Burn? . The band has released two new cover songs, taking on "Downtown" by Still Corners and "Fake Like" by Poliça. 

They turn the former into a shuffling rock cut with an emphatic vocal delivery from Greg Dulli, while the latter is an emotive piano-led ballad. Dulli said: “Both of these songs were born out of soundcheck jams. Each song holds a particular resonance for me and I really felt the lyrics, so they both flowed freely and felt good to sing.”
