Reediciones: NME C86 Deluxe Edition 3CD

Cherry Red Records acaba de anunciar el tracklist final para su edición de lujo, del legendario cassette de NME llamado C86, la cinta como muchos sabran fue lanzada en el verano de 1986 y contenía originalmente, 22 canciones de indie pop, pues bien ahora se agregan otros tracks más para poder expandirse a un total de 72 tracks en 3 Cds, entre los que se incluyen muchos tracks nunca antes escuchados y que por primera vez estarán disponibles en CD.

La colección saldrá a la venta el próximo 9 de junio en una caja fuerte tipo concha, que incluirá un grueso libreto con notas de Neil Taylor, uno de los tres escritores originales de NME que compiló la cinta original. El primer disco, del C86 expandido contiene las 22 canciones originales de acuerdo al orden del cassette, el cual estaba disponible vía correo para los suscriptores de NME, al año siguiente se lanzó en vinilo bajó el sello Rough Trade, y era una seguidilla del C81 que compilaba una serie de tracks de New Wave.

La cinta C86 original, incluía geniales bandas que por aquel momento eran desconocidas o relativamente conocidas como Primal Scream, The Wedding Present, The Soup Dragons, The Mighty Lemon Drops, así como otras bandas ahora olvidadas tales como Miaow, Stump, y Bogshed, así como otras bandas curiosas como Close Lobsters, Mighty Mighty y The Shop Assistants.

Entre los actos que aparecen en el segundo y tercer disco, destacamos a bandas como: The Jesus and Mary Chain, Happy Mondays, The Jasmine Minks, Pop Will East Itself, Biff Bang Pow!, Blue Aeroplanes entre otros, pero ya no digo más y aquí les incluyo el tracklist total:
