New Music: Ferry Lady

Noah Lennox, member of Animal Collective and now solo artist better known as Panda Bear, released the single "Ferry Lady." It’s the latest sample from his upcoming album Sinister Grift, which features notable collaborations from Cindy Lee and Spirit Of The Beehive’s Rivka Ravede. The curious thing is that neither of those people are featured on "Ferry Lady," but Lennox did record the whole record with his Animal Collective bandmate Josh "Deakin" Dib, the curious video was directed by Danny Perez.

MEMORIAM BRIAN JAMES (1955-2025): The iconic guitarist founder of the Damned and TLords Of The New Church died aged 70 according an statement in his account in facebook. IN MEMORIAM DAVID JOHANSEN (19502-2025): The wiry, gravelly-voiced singer and last surviving member of the glam and protopunk band the New York Dolls who later performed as his campy, pompadoured alter ego, Buster Poindexter, has died. He was 75. Johansen died Friday at his home in New York City, Jeff Kilgour, a family spokesperson told The Associated Press. It was revealed in early 2025 that he had stage 4 cancer and a brain tumor. IN MEMORIAM GENE HACKMAN 1930-2025): Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife appeared to have been dead for "quite a while" when the couple and their dog were found on Wednesday afternoon at their home in the US state of New Mexico, police say. Hackman, 95, was discovered in a side room near the kitchen of the house in Santa Fe, while his wife Betsy Arakawa, a 65-year-old classical pianist, was found in a bathroom. Authorities reported no signs of injury but deemed the deaths "suspicious enough" to investigate and have not ruled out foul play. No cause of death was given. IN MEMORIAM MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG (1985-2025): Trachtenberg was found unconscious and unresponsive Wednesday and determined dead by EMS officials. The NYPD said no criminal involvement is suspected and the investigation is ongoing. IN MEMORIAM RICK BUCKLER (1955-2025): The Jam's iconical drummer Rick Buckler has died aged 69 the causes of his deceased still unknown.
