Japanese Breakfast has shared the latest single from her forthcoming album For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women). The new single is "Mega Circuit" a smooth and toyful vibes track arrives with a music video that Michelle Zauner created with frequent collaborator Adam Kolodny.

IN MEMORIAM DAVID JOHANSEN (19502-2025): The wiry, gravelly-voiced singer and last surviving member of the glam and protopunk band the New York Dolls who later performed as his campy, pompadoured alter ego, Buster Poindexter, has died. He was 75. Johansen died Friday at his home in New York City, Jeff Kilgour, a family spokesperson told The Associated Press. It was revealed in early 2025 that he had stage 4 cancer and a brain tumor. IN MEMORIAM GENE HACKMAN 1930-2025): Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife appeared to have been dead for "quite a while" when the couple and their dog were found on Wednesday afternoon at their home in the US state of New Mexico, police say. Hackman, 95, was discovered in a side room near the kitchen of the house in Santa Fe, while his wife Betsy Arakawa, a 65-year-old classical pianist, was found in a bathroom. Authorities reported no signs of injury but deemed the deaths "suspicious enough" to investigate and have not ruled out foul play. No cause of death was given. IN MEMORIAM MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG (1985-2025): Trachtenberg was found unconscious and unresponsive Wednesday and determined dead by EMS officials.
