Dinosaur Jr. are officially back. The alt-rock pioneers just dropped "Everything At Once" a shimmering first single off their 13th studio album, There Near.  While a lot of the new record leans into fast, driving punk energy, the new single hits a different sweet spot, think classic power-pop meets J Mascis’ signature melancholic crunch—heavy on the hooks, dripping with analog warmth, and carrying that unmistakable downbeat indie charm. For the video directed by Guy Kozak, the visual accompaniment features a poor soul trapped in a full, clanking medieval suit of armor trying to survive everyday modern errands. Watching a knight mow the lawn and walk a dog provides the exact kind of dry, self-aware humor that makes the band so enduringly cool.
