La Recopilación: David Bowie Brilliant Adventure 1992-2001

Acaban de anunciar la llegada de una nueva box set con material de David Bowie de los años 90's la cual será lanzada a finales de Noviembre con un total de 11CD y 18LP. Como es de esperarse, las cajas incluirán nuevas remasterizaciones de los siguientes discos: Black Tie White Noise (1993), The Buddha of Suburbia (1993), Outside (1995), Earthling (1997) and Hours (1999), y la curiosidad, el álbum que nunca vio la luz hasta ahorita de Bowie llamado "Toy", el cual será lanzado por separado en una caja de 3CD y para vinilo. 

 

Otros detalles exclusivos del box set es el Re:Call 5, que son 39 tracks inéditos de versiones alternativas, lados B y temas de bandas sonoras, y luego el show completo en la BBC Radio Theatre del 27 de Junio del año 2000, una versión editado como bonus CD de David at the Beed lanzada en Septiembre del 2000, esta viene con cinco tracks más, y nunca había sido lanzado en vinilo, "The Buddha Of Suburbia de 1995 usa la copia sepia que se usó en Canadá y Estados Unidos, además que para el box set, todos los álbumes vienen 2LP excepto "Hours" que es un single vinilo, "Earthling" trae tres lados, a diferencia del famoso "Toy" que son 2LP de 3 lados, el show de la BBC requiere de tres vinilos mientras que Re:Call 5 4 vinilos, y esa es la razón por la que la box set en vinilo es tan grande con un total de 18LPs.

La cajas traen el mismo estilo, en el caso de los CD es el mismo formato solo que para CD y con discos de colores, además de un libreto de 124 páginas para la caja de CDs y de 84 páginas para la de vinilos, que incluyen fotos inéditas a cargo de Frank W. Ockenfels, Nick Knight, John Scarisbrick, y Nuna Schultz, además de la memorabilia a cargo de productores e ingenieros como Brian Eno, Nile Rodgers, Reeves Gabriels y Mark Plati.
