Discos: R.E.M. At The BBC

Universal Music lanzara a mediados de Octubre el box set REM at the BBC, se trata de una masiva recopilación de 8CD+DVD que recopila las andazas de la banda por la BBC, en el set se pueden encontrar una serie de tesoros sonoros, rarezas y mucho material en directo, grabaciones de estudio y demas cositas sacadas de los archivos de la BBC.

El box set contiene presentaciones en-estudio tales como las de John Peel Session de 1998, Drivetime and Mark and Lard sessions del 2003, y Radio 1 Live Lounge del 2008. Entre otras podemos destacar las presentaciones de shows como Nottingham Rock City de 1984, The Milton Keynes Monster Tour de 1995, el set de Glastonbury de 1999 y el evento en el St. James's Church en Londres del 2004 al que se asistio por invitación. 

En el DVD viene el documental "Accelerating Backwards" un total de 60 minutos que si bien se transmitío en el Reino Unido nunca fue lanzado comercialmente, también viene una actuación completa de With Jools Holland dedicado en completo a la banda de 1998, una aparición en Top of the Pops y mucho más. 

The Best Of R.E.M. at the BBC viene en box set con 2LP y 2CD y tres formatos más y estará disponible a partir del 19 de Octubre.
