Discos: Killing Joke Y Su Masivo Box Set Con Gira Incluída

La banda Killing Joke esta celebrando su 40 aniversario de fundación y por tal motivo anuncian una gira mundial y un masivo box set con toda su discografía hasta la fecha. La gira mundial lleva por nombre "The Laugh At Your Peril" que arrancará en Estados Unidos y pasará por México, Brasil, Chile, Argentina, y Peru para luego irse de lleno a Europa y finalizar en Noviembre en el Reino Unido.

Junto a la gran gira, se viene un masivo box set de edición limitada que incluirá 15 coloridos vinilos en doble LPs empaquetados en una caja de viaje, y que trae además unos audifonos, un libro de letras autografiado y una serie de piezas de arte relacionadas con la banda. 

Según cuenta Jaz Coleman, todo comenzó hace 40 años cuando conocí en aquel verano a Big Paul, y luego un año después ya estabamos grabando el primer EP, y desde entonces han ido discos tras discos y ahora son ya 40 años de formación, y para celebrarlo todo empezaremos con una gira mundial, fiestas y platicas con el bajista Youth y su servidor, de algo en el que todos si estamos de acuerdo es que Killing Joke es una de las bandas más influyentes de todos los tiempos aunque desgraciadamente ha sido muy infravalorada.

La banda no ha sido muy comercial que digamos, pero eso no ha sido impedimento sobre la influencia que ha legado durante estos 40 años a la música independiente, muchos años de hacer mover a la gente con este comprometido y bendito ruido, ha dicho el bajista Youth. Mientras tanto la banda seguira inspirando con esta mezcla de sonido explosivo en un viaje lleno de placer atemporal. 

En cuanto al box set, este estará disponible en dos versiones: La CD versión que costará unas  US$232.00 e incluirá unos 16 doble CD's con un diseño de caja especial, mientras que la versión vinilo será más cara unas US$850.00 y vendrá diseñado con unas portadas estampadas, ambas versiones incluirán material inédito más ocho nuevos tracks que nunca han sido lanzados en ningún formato.
